The SHYNE Awards is a premiere awards ceremony that recognizes the positive achievements made by young adults ages 13-19.

Young adults are nominated
and recognized in one of the following categories:

The Arts, Academics, Entrepreneurship, Community Service, Service in Ministry, Science and Overcoming Obstacles.
An adult is awarded the
Gwendolyn J. Elliott Lifetime Achievement Award

Hosted by Malik Yoba
NAACP Image Award winner, stage and film actor Malik Yoba will serve as Host.  He is known for his co-starring role as NYPD detective J.C. Williams on the popular FOX police drama New York Undercover from 1994 to 1998, and has also appeared in films such as Cool Runnings and Criminal.
