Having communication with other business owners has allowed him to grow as a businessman, it has given him new ideas on re-working and tweaking his business plan, by updating, re-working the financial side, all this to assist in guiding his Company into a successful future. 

 

      In addition to working on expanding his clothing line, Canard is also interested in leading the way in contributing to the image of the importance of Fatherhood.  As a proud father of two sons, Dre'von Michael and Canard Edward (Michael Edwards), and a football coach.  It was at his coaching job, when he started to notice how the young male players without a father role model in the home, would attach themselves to the male coaches.  From this experience he established the Michael Edwards Foundation, an organization which mentors to young males in the community.

 

      It's not just words to Canard, it's a daily way of living.  He has a healthy, positive, and daily intimate involvement in both his sons lives.  He involves them in his business, infusing his catalogue with positive family orientated images and uplifting statements.  Canard is first a man of God, and a great father.

 

      Another event he is heavily involved, is The Michael Edwards Experience.  I had the pleasure of attending The Michael Edwards Experience I in Sewickley this past June.  All I will reveal is that the event reminded me of attending an upscale event in Atlanta, New York, Chicago or even D.C.  If you missed this experience, you ll have another chance in November to attend The Michael Edwards Experience II, being held at the Metropolis Club in the Strip District.  He'll be bringing the New York state of mind to Pittsburgh once again.  This will be an experience you won t want to miss.  Guests will be entertained in a sophisticated adult atmosphere.  There will be great music, delicious food, along with celebrity guests, and secret specials available on the hot VIP Levels.  This will be an event where upscale business minded people, and their clientele, and any one else wanting to experience something different can meet, network and have fun.  Also on the planning table is a separate but equal special treats each geared towards the male guests and the female guests. 

 

      The Michael Edwards Experience is the brainchild of Canard as another way in promoting his clothing line and connecting with what the people want.  He feels his business image is important and it reflects the man he is and his vision for his company.  Being involved in making sure his Company has the right image, Canard is a hands-on person.  He calls himself a perfectionist and all that he is can be found reflected in the design of his Michael Edwards catalogue and Press Kit.  He understands that most people are driven by the image; people want to see what they re purchasing before they put out their hard earned money.  You'll agree after seeing the photographs in his catalogue each image connects with a variety of clientele, from the young to the more mature crowd, from the hip-hop to the corporate audiences.
