Update on Pittsburgh s Most Wanted Actor: Carl Clemons

When we last left Carl Clemons he was coming off last season s HBO s The Wire series. Since then, there has been no rest for Carl, he has become a much sought after actor, being cast in a variety of upcoming feature films, TV series, commercials and music videos.

He is currently working with his old friends from The Wire, Hassan Johnson, Tyrell Baker and a new friend Danny Simmons (Russell s younger brother) in an urban film titled Lost Money , which is being filmed in California, New York and Philadelphia. The film s twist and turns follow a group of men involved in an organized crime gang, and the path they travel littered with greed, betrayal, power, lost money, and the retrieval of this money. Redfield Stoney Thomas III, the Director and writer of Lost Money filled the movie with plenty of action scenes and unexpected twists.

Leaping from gangster to a Fed, Carl has been cast to play Secret Service Agency Richard Jackson tied up in a web of deceit in Arthur Anderson s Encoded. The film is in pre-production and will be filmed in South Carolina. Mr. Anderson has directed such films as Mission Impossible III with Tom Cruise. The screen play was written by Jake Andolina and Michael Matthew Barker.

It s not enough that Carl can play good cop, bad cop, he can do music, as he continues to shine in Silver Stein s rock video being shown on MTV.

The silver screen is not the only place you ll see Carl, watch for him on the smaller television screen, in an upcoming re-enactment on America s Most Wanted. He plays Benjamin in the episode titled Lyde & Benjamin s Story. While watching your television don t be tempted to turn the channel when it s commercial time, it might be Carl, who is the regional spokesperson for Franco Harris s new nutrition doughnut. Nutrition doughnut? Now you know we all are looking for a more healthy way to eat good, check out the commercial.

Carl is also in negotiation for a part in the upcoming movie H.N.I.C.
