What is the United We Dance Reunion you ask?
United We Dance is comprised of 21 groups from Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio. On the first weekend in June since 2002, we come together to unite as a family by sharing, learning and having fun through the art of dance. Although there are many different styles of dance, they all share one thing in common: the language of movement. When you get a group of people moving in the same direction and sharing something in common, they are a force to be reckoned with! They are strong! They are proud and most importantly, they are part of something great!
With each passing year, our circle of friends and family has grown as the message spreads and others want to join in the fun! We now have individuals and groups from the states of California, Delaware, Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Illinois, Maryland, Alabama, Georgia, New York, Washington, Missouri, Arizona, Wisconsin, North Carolina,Mississippi and Tennessee.
In 2007, we had a total of 977 participants at our 6th Annual Reunion in Detroit, Michigan.
We expect to surpass that amount in 2008 at
our 7th Annual United We Dance Reunion in Detroit, Michigan.
Why is Pittsburgh Going to the UWD Reunion?
We are not competing at this reunion. We are going to have fun, see new style line dancing, Chicago steppin', Detroit Ballroom and more! Meet new people and learn new dances! Roland is however forming a Line Dance Team that will eventually compete and travel. The Step team is sponsored by The Soul Pitt
and will be fittingly named...

1) You must pay your $80 Registration Fee and turn it into Roland Ford by April 30th to Attend! Call Roland at 412-225-9190

(Note: Make your payment out to United We Dance and turn in your form to Roland Ford. Roland will turn in all the forms together)

3) Let us know if you want to travel on the bus or need a roommate. We'll have a public meeting about the event at a location TBA before we leave. However, you don't have to ride our bus. You can drive up on your own with your group or however you want to get there. We will however need a sufficient number of people to get a bus.
I don't live in Pittsburgh...What do I do?
3) We are encouraging folks from Youngstown, Johnstown, Stuebenville and other surrounding areas to meet us in Pittsburgh and travel with us to Detroit!
