Public Allies Pittsburgh, an AmeriCorps program and partner of the Coro Center for Civic Leadership, identifies our city's most promising leaders, ages 18-30 from diverse backgrounds and creates opportunities for them to strengthen their communities through apprenticeships in nonprofit organizations.

In our 10-month program you will work full time for a nonprofit organization addressing critical community issues, and develop your own leadership skills through regular trainings delivered by community leaders. Join our network of thousands of young leaders already making careers out of making a difference. |
PROGRAM BENEFITS

Earn a $1,400 monthly stipend

Earn a $4,725 education award to pay back student loans or to fund future education

Receive healthcare, childcare, and student loan deferment

TO PARTICIPATE:

You must be between the ages of 18-30,

have a high school diploma or GED,

be a U.S. citizen or legal resident,

and be committed to making a difference.
If selected as a finalist, you will interview with staff and then interview with potential nonprofit partners.
